Successful migration of the SAP information system to SAP S/4HANA at PRECIOSA Ornela, a.s.

At PRECIOSA Ornela, a.s., we have completed the migration and process changes of the SAP R/3 information system to the new SAP S/4HANA. This project was one of the biggest technological challenges we faced in the past fiscal period, and its successful completion with go-live on 1 April 2024, represents a significant step forward, especially for the customer.

SAP S/4HANA brings users not only the latest technologies but also increased efficiency and flexibility in many business processes. The new system offers improved performance, expanded analytical capabilities, and a user-friendly interface.

Post-production support is currently underway, during which we monitor and fine-tune the system to fully meet the customer’s needs and expectations. We want to thank all team members who participated in this project for their high-quality work, as well as our collaborators on the customer’s side.

In the fall, we plan to begin the migration of PRECIOSA Lustry, a.s., which will be another essential step on the path to modernising our information systems.
